Refund & Replacement Policy
Digital License Store sells digital software license keys. Because these are intangible, instantly delivered products, our refund policy reflects the nature of digital goods while still protecting you against genuine issues.
Once a license key has been revealed or delivered to you, it is considered used and is not eligible for a refund under any circumstance β this is standard practice for all digital license products.
1. Our Policy in Brief
All sales of digital license keys are final. We do not offer refunds based on change of mind, accidental purchases, or incompatibility with software or hardware that was not verified before purchase.
However, we stand fully behind the validity of every key we sell. If you experience a genuine issue covered under Section 2, we will replace your key or issue a refund.
2. When You Are Eligible for a Replacement or Refund
You may request a replacement key or refund only in the following situations:
- Non-delivery: You completed payment but did not receive your license key within 24 hours and our support team has been unable to resolve the delivery.
- Invalid key: The license key does not activate and our technical support team confirms it is non-functional after troubleshooting.
- Wrong product: The key delivered does not match the product you ordered (e.g., wrong Windows edition or Office version).
- Already used: The key was already activated on another device prior to your purchase, confirmed by Microsoft’s activation servers.
All claims must be raised within 7 days of the original order date.
3. Replacement First
Our default resolution for all eligible claims is a free replacement key. We will issue a replacement within 2–4 business hours of verifying your claim via email or WhatsApp.
A monetary refund is offered only when:
- A replacement key is unavailable for your specific product.
- Two replacement keys have both failed to activate despite correct troubleshooting steps.
4. What Is Not Covered
The following situations are not eligible for a refund or replacement:
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Incompatibility with your device, operating system version, or region β please verify system requirements before buying.
- Keys that failed to activate due to an incorrect activation method β contact us first and we will guide you through the correct process.
- Purchases made more than 7 days ago.
- Keys purchased as part of a bundle where one key out of many is claimed to be invalid without supporting evidence.
- Any key that has been shared with, or attempted on, multiple devices.
5. How to Request a Refund or Replacement
To raise a claim, contact us via email or WhatsApp with the following information:
- Your order number or the email address used at checkout.
- A clear description of the issue.
- A screenshot of the activation error (if applicable).
We review all claims within 24 hours (business days). If approved, replacements are issued the same day; monetary refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and returned to your original payment method.
6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or payment provider. We resolve genuine issues quickly and a chargeback is almost always avoidable.
Fraudulent chargebacks on valid orders will be contested with full evidence including proof of delivery and activation logs.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Replacement Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
